Even when _Missing 411_ brings up interesting points, it manages to shoot itself in the foot.

In this case, the National Park Service doesn't have any records of the number of people who have gone missing over years. One of the reasons that such a vital resource isn't implemented in the parks system is because the NPS is critically underfunded. The author is arguing that the lack of such a list is clearly a sign of a conspiracy, because "a modern day laptop would suffice for tracking missing people against the national park system."

The part of me that understands how database and server costs work is very, very happy I downed a glass of fruity wine before reading tonight.
