Reading progress update: I've read 4%.

Faust - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

It's so refreshing to read an introduction/preface to classic that doesn't spoil the entire book (looking at you, Oxford World Classics edition of ANNA KARENINA.) On the downside, it assumes the reader is familiar with every other  translation of Faust in existence, but at least it doesn't begin by discussing the end of the story like some other classics I've read this year. 


...Granted, it's freakin' FAUST, I think just about everyone in existence knows the general plot anyway.
